Our Ingredients
Allergy Information: we use a variety of nut oils in our products. It is possible that traces of any of the ingredients shown below could be found in all of our products.
Apricot Kernel Oil: rapidly penetrates the skin without leaving an oily residue. It is a light but rich oil high in oleic and linoleic acid that's good for mature, sensitive or dry skin.
Avocado oil: effective at relieving dry skin conditions. It contains the essential fatty acid linoleic acid which helps strengthen the membranes surrounding skin cells.
Beeswax: helps to create a thicker body butter while providing protection for your skin. We use natural beeswax that has been whitened through a light exposure process. We do not use bleached beeswax in any of our products.
Calendula, CO2 Extract: said to help quicken the healing of cuts, scrapes and abrasions. It has a lovely golden color with wonderful skin soothing properties.
Cane Sugar: cane sugar contains a natural alpha-hydroxy acid called glycolic acid. This helps to break the lipid bonds to keep dead skin cells held together allowing them to be easily washed away. This process h= elps to reveal the new skin cells beneath improving skin's texture making it look smoother and healthier.
Cocoa Butter: lays down a protective layer that helps hold moisture to the skin making it a good skin softener. We use prime pressed cocoa butter. This is a high quality food grade cocoa butter frequently used in making chocolates. It has a light, natural chocolate scent.
Coconut Oil, Virgin: extracted from the solid part of the coconut by a centrifuge. It has a wonderful, light coconut scent. It's easily absorbed by the skin and is perfect for dry, sensitive or irritated skin.
Glycerin (vegetable source): a humectant and emollient. Helps to draw moisture to the skin.
Jojoba: an emollient that is similar to natural human oil secretions. Technically not an oil but a plant wax that does not turn rancid. Makes a superb skin conditioner.
Olive Oil, Extra Virgin: this oils composition is very similar to that of human skin. It's absorbed quickly and helps lock in moisture. With a high percentage of vitamins A and E it helps to sooth and replenish the skin.
Optiphen Plus(phenoxyethanol; caprylyl glycol; sorbic acid): a paraben and formaldehyde-free preservative used in our sugar scrubs
Polysorbate 20 (polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate): A non-toxic, vegetable based, viscous oily liquid derived from lauric acid (coconut oil). Used as an emulsifier in creams, lotions and other bath products.
Pumpkin Seed Oil and Pulp: Pumpkin is a nutrient rich ingredient. Its bright orange color is a dead giveaway that it’s loaded with beta-carotene, an important antioxidant. It also contains vitamin C, vitamin K and lutein. It is an exceptional source of vitamin A. The pulp contains a natural alpha hydroxy acid which helps to exfoliate and remove dry skin exposing fresh, healthy skin cells beneath.
Seabuckthorn Berry, CO2 extract: includes high amounts of linoleic acids as well as vitamins A and E making it a powerful free-radical scavenger and it helps restore and soothe the skin.
Shea Butter (grade A, West African, unrefined): a solid butter extracted from nuts. Traditional uses for this butter include treating dry skin, scars, minor burns, muscle aches and wrinkles. Grade A shea butter is higher in the healing factions compared to other grades of shea. It is the healing faction that make shea butter a wonderful addition to any bath or body produ= ct. We use grade A, unrefined, expeller pressed shea butter in all of our products because it retains the maximum amount of nutrients and healing ingredients.
Sweet Almond oil: rich in essential fatty acids and natural vitamin E
Tamanu (also called Foraha): a thick, dark green, viscous oil that comes from the South Seas Islands. For generations it has been used on skin wounds, irritations as well as burns for its anti-inflammatory and antibiotic properties. A great addition to any skin care product.
Vitamin E: fat-soluble vitamin that helps to prevent the breakdown of body tissues. Often used for a variety of skin problems including burns. Vitamin E also helps to extend the shelf life of the various vegetable and nut oils we use in our products.
SCENT LIST
Zularis Signature Scent: a features a well rounded blend of essential oils including lemon, bergamot, lavandin, frankincense and myrrh. Lightly citrus with a whisper of wood and vanilla like notes. Perfect for both men and women!
Pumpkin Spice: This is a delicious scent blend featuring pumpkin, cinnamon, brown sugar and vanilla.
LIMITED EDITION SCENT LIST
Bay Rum:The perfect scent for men! Clasic and clean smelling. Spicy bay blended with cinnamon, cloves, orange and a touch of rum.
Brandied Pear:An absolutely edible blend of pears poached in brandy, vanilla and lightly dusted with cinnamon.
Carribean Coconut: If you are a coconut lover then you will love this scent. Not content to just be another plain coconut fragrance this one is smooth, buttery, a bit fruity and utterly tropical.
Cedar and Saffron: Fragrant cedar infused with smokey patchouli, sandalwood and vetivert are blended with spices and mellowed with a touch of musk. A very sensuous fragrance.
Egyptian Musk:I know there are scores of musk scents out there with a similar name but we feel this one blows them all away. It is the most incredible musk scent you will ever find. A sexy, warm fragrance that's perfect for both women and men.
Frankincense and Myrrh: The deep, rich, resenous scents of frankincense and myrrh have been warmed up with touches of vanilla and amber. An incredible scent blend for men but enjoyed by even more women....a very unisex scent!
Lavender: A blend of Lavender, sensuous ylang ylang, patchouli and clove essential oils.
Midnight Musk: An incredibly intoxicating and sexy musk scent. Though we think our Egyptian Musk is THE BEST musk scent around I would have to say that Midnight Musk is not far behind it.
Mystique: Experience the exotic flavors of the Middle East with this mysterious combination of woods, fruits and spices tempered with a touch of vanilla. This blend contains a variety of pure essential oils including patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver, clary sage, mandarin, lemon, grapefruit, neroli and anise along with a small amount of musk and vanilla fragrance oils.
Precious Amber: Amber is a main note found in many perfumes. It's warm, sweet, woody fragrance is perfect mixed with other scents but is also very sultry when used on it's own. This is not your ordinary amber scent. It begins with top notes of natural bergamot, galbanum, lemon, petitgrain, and lime, leading to sweet middle notes of amber and vanilla then spicy nutmeg and clove, with rich bottom notes of ambergris, balsam peru, and sandalwood. This is one amber blend you will NOT want to miss! Great unisex scent.
Sugared Vanilla: A sinfully rich vanilla with notes of brown sugar.
Tahitian Gardenia: A luxurious floral scent from Tahiti. There the islanders gather the tiare flower to scent the coconut oil they use in their hair. This incredibly scented oil is called Monoi de Tahiti. We've captured the beautiful fragrance of this tropical flower in scent. Use alone or blend with other tropical scents.
